*** Enrollment Policy ***
Class enrollment is accepted on a first-pay first-served basis. A seat may be temporarily reserved using a signed and faxed copy of this enrollment agreement and a 50% deposit; however Infinite Solar, Inc. cannot guarantee a seat until full payment has been received. Students who have not paid in full will not be admitted to the class. Payment may be made with cash, credit card, check, PayPal.
*** Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy ***
A student may cancel from or reschedule a class for which they are enrolled. If you cancel your space in a class more than 15 days before the start date, you forfeit one half of your tuition. If you cancel within 15 days of the start of your workshop or class, you forfeit your full tuition. If you choose to transfer your space to someone in your company or family, a $100 administration fee is charged. No refunds are issued on reschedules or in-company transfers. Reschedules made less than 6 business days before the class start date will result in forfeiture of 25% of the class tuition fees. Reschedules made less than 3 business days before the class start date will result in forfeiture of 50% of the class tuition fees. If a student cancels after rescheduling, no refunds will be issued. Only one reschedule is allowed, and the rescheduled class must be taken within six months of the originally scheduled class date. If the same class is not offered in the future, no refund will be issued. Any amount due to the student will be refunded within 30 business days.
*** No Shows ***
Failure to attend a scheduled class without a written notice prior to the start date of the course will be considered a "no show" and will result in forfeiture of the full course price. Infinite Solar, Inc will not be held liable for any incurred travel and/or lodging expenses.
*** General Terms ***
1. This agreement is the entire agreement between you (Client) and Infinite Solar, Inc., and supersedes all previous oral and written agreements and discussions. This agreement may be changed only by an agreement in writing between Infinite Solar, Inc. and Client. Client has read and understood this agreement and has not entered into this agreement in reliance on any promises made by Infinite Solar Inc, or any of its counselors or agents.
2. Client agrees to comply with Infinite Solar, Inc. rules and procedures, including, but not limited to absences, tardiness, safety, honesty & proper conduct.
3. Although Infinite Solar, Inc.will make its best efforts to notify students in the event that any class has been canceled or postponed, it is the student's responsibility to contact Infinite Solar, Inc.to confirm his or her attendance in the class at least two business days before the scheduled class. Infinite Solar, Inc. is not responsible for student's / client's travel, lodging, incidental expenses or other losses or damages incurred if the student does not confirm their attendance in the class, and the class has been cancelled or postponed.
4. Day classes are generally held from 8 AM to 5 PM. Class times are determined by Infinite Solar, Inc. announced schedules. All course schedules are subject to change in start and completion dates, for which students will be duly notified.
5. Infinite Solar, Inc.reserves the right to postpone training in the event of natural disasters, Acts of God, labor disputes, or equipment failure for a maximum of 30 days. Students will be duly notified and compensated if applicable.
6. Infinite Solar, Inc. reserves the right to withdraw a scheduled program if the registration is insufficient to hold a class at minimum capacity.
9. Client agrees that any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract, or the breach thereof, shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
10. If any particular provision of this agreement shall be deemed invalid or unenforceable, it shall not affect the other provisions hereof, and this agreement shall be construed in all respects as if such invalid or unenforceable provision was omitted.
11. It is Infinite Solar, Inc. policy to provide our employees and contractors ("personnel") as instructional resources to Students & Clients only for the purpose of training with Infinite Solar, Inc.. Students & Clients understand that it is not Infinite Solar, Inc. intention under this Agreement to provide Infinite Solar, Inc. personnel for permanent or temporary placement as employees or contractors. As a Student or Client of Infinite Solar, Inc., you agree to not hire or utilize (as an employee or contractor) the services of any present or former Infinite Solar, Inc. personnel or cause the hiring or utilization of Infinite Solar, Inc. personnel by a third party, except when such hiring or utilization is done under an employment agreement with Infinite Solar, Inc.. The parties agree that if such hiring or utilization takes place, Infinite Solar, Inc.will have been damaged, but that the amount of damages are difficult to ascertain. Accordingly, the parties agree that if Student or Client violates this paragraph, Student or Client will pay Infinite Solar, Inc. $60,000.00 as liquidated damages.
12. Our programs will not train the student to become an electrician. Those students that are not already licensed to perform electrical work are advised to partner with, hire, or work with those who are appropriately licensed.
13. This course is designed for people with basic knowledge of the National Electric Code standard rules and procedures. Students unfamiliar with the code and taking this course must accept the fact that their lack of professional experience may lead to difficulty learning the course material.
14. The examination included with this course does not confer a Professional License. Students are directed to their states contractor licensing board to learn the licensing requirements for their state. Students are further advised to contact their local Public Utilities Commission and any other state or local agencies involved with the policies and regulations of solar equipment installation & sales, in order to comply with any additional requirements for performing such work.
15. All students are required to submit all pertinent personal information which may directly or indirectly affect the safety and medical needs of themselves or other students prior to the begin of instruction so the necessary preparations may be made by Infinite Solar, Inc. If the student shall fail to provide such information Infinite Solar, Inc.will not be held liable for any injury or harm that the student may be subject to as a result of the lack of action by the student.
16. By signing this form the student agrees to comply with any and all instructions given by Infinite Solar, Inc.and its faculty, staff, and contracted personnel.
