The goal of this intensive 2-day training course is to give our students in-depth exposure to numerous solar equipment in the design and installation of both residential and commercial Photovoltaic (PV) systems. Students will learn how to generate system designs in regards to the construction, specification of solar equipment and components, design of systems, and mechanical and electrical points of connection for grid-tied Photovoltaic (PV) systems. Our hands-on solar training lab covers the common steps of residential and commercial solar PV system installations . You will wire up inverters from a variety of manufacturers and mount solar panels on racking systems with roof penetrations and panel attachments. You will learn how to work with DC disconnects, inverters, AC disconnects, and load center/service panels to tie in with the utility.
Our trainers are industry professionals with extensive real-world knowledge. We provide instructor-led training throughout the day over the length of the course in a distraction-free environment. Instructors are available at all times to provide individual and group attention, and ensure the students’ success.
